Table Mountain Aerial Cableway has extended its family winter special in celebration of its 80th birthday.
The special allows two children to use the cableway free (instead of paying R76 each) if accompanied by a full-paying adult.
It is valid every day until next Sunday, and on weekends and public holidays until October 31.
The adult return ticket price is R145. From Thursday the winter special rate will be R160 an adult.
