Emirates will introduce, from October 1, the Boeing 777-300ER on all three daily Johannesburg/Dubai flights. Each flight will offer eight private suites in first class, 42 seats in business class and 304 seats in economy class.

Fouad Caunhye, Emirates' regional manager - southern Africa said: "Our passengers have always enjoyed the very best in service and comfort levels from Emirates.

The implementation of the Boeing 777-300 ER on to our thrice daily flights from Johannesburg is further testament to our commitment in providing the best in-flight experience for our passengers in South Africa and across the world."

Every class of travel onboard the 777-300ER will have the benefit of Emirates' groundbreaking in-flight entertainment system - ICE.

With ICE, passengers can follow the progress of their flight, take in the view from the aircraft's external cameras, keep up-to-date with live news headlines from BBC News, and read up on Dubai and Emirates.
